Setup

  1. Open Ascend → Settings → Integrations → Apple Health
  2. Tap "Connect" — iOS shows the permission sheet
  3. Toggle every category you want (default: all on)
  4. Done — sync runs in background on every app open + every workout finish

FAQ

Does Ascend overwrite my existing Apple Health data?

No. We append new workouts. Existing data from other apps is read-only on our side.

Does it work with Apple Watch?

Yes. Workouts started on the Watch land in Apple Health, then sync into Ascend on next app open.

What if I lift on a machine without a Watch?

Manually log in Ascend — we write it back to Apple Health so your daily ring stays accurate.

Privacy?

Apple Health data stays on-device unless you explicitly share. Ascend only requests categories you toggle on.
